But i talked to one stewartville superintenden t and a parent about their hopes moving forward.

Xxx "i think it's better for them to just be in school in general just so they can socialize with all their friends, they shouldn't have to worry about all this covid stuff."

Rith heang has two kids in public schools.

He's eager for his kids to head back to class .

"i'm just not as worried about the pandemic just because the kids are young enough where they can beat the flu, whatever it is."

Governor tim walz today unveiled a plan to reopen schools that gives districts some flexibility to toggle between in?

Stewartville superintenden t belinda selfors is eager for students to return.

"as students, they are social beings, those connections with their peers and their teachers are so important."

Selfors says the district will watch and wait for now.

Tim walz says these numbers are just a starting point.
