Fort Wayne Community Schools back in session with in-person and blended learning models

Fort Wayne Community Schools students returned to school on Thursday morning for the first day of the fall semester.

Hugs were a little tighter.

Goodbyes were a little longer.

In some place having one sixth sharlette jimerson hopes she can help her niece and nephew with their homework this year.

I look at my niec homework and i like oah...?this is the answe but the way they coming up with the answer is totally different.imerson says she empathizes with parents who sometimes question their at home teaching skills since so much has changed since they were in school.

If her children were still in elementary, she would be worried about their education.

Making the return to the classroom most convenient to stay on track.

She encourages other parents who sent their children back to classroom to make the best of it.
