We spoke to him thursday at his hotel in shreveport before the storm hit the area.

He says the red cross is working with two hotels as shelters for those in need.

But it goes beyond a place to stay.

Not all of us can afford to go out to eat with our families everyday for ten days or whatever its just if the storm hits the restaurants arent open.

So its our job to give them sustance" and because of the pandemic..

The way they serve three meals a day, has changed.

6:10-6:32 "we have to be careful because we are trying to do within the protocals of covid.

We cant let them reach for the food, we have to give them the food push it out to them but once its theres we cant take it back.

It gets a bit hectic ay multi-generational families have come to them for help.

And once the storm passes the job is to get them back into a safe and stable place to stay.
