Authorities search for suspect following Maysville murder

<<ron johnson reporting the dekalb county sheriff's department is investigating after a thursday afternoon homicide in maysville.

Sot the county's sheriff says authorities responded to this house on the 1200 block of highland st.

Sot that victim, 43 year old casey gabbard was transported to the nearby cameron regional hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The department is naming this man brian graham as a suspect in gabbard's death.

In a probable cause statement released friday, sheriff's deputies say the two men knew each other and the victim was helping the suspect move into the house where gabbard was found in front of.

It also says an ex girlfriend of the suspect was inside the home helping in the move when she heard a loud noise from outside she came out to find gabbard injured, and graham gone.

Sheriff's deputies are on the search, sot they say graham has ties to the cameron area as well as st.
