Cascade Beach re-opens for holiday weekend

There is still time to dip your toes in the sand and water at Cascade Lake Beach.

How's everything looking?

Well katie... the sun is out... the sand is hot... and most importantly... the gate is finally unlocked here at cascade beach.

And this... behind me... says it all.

But let's be clear... it has not been a summer to celebrate at cascade beach.

You might remember... the season started off with the very tragic drowning of a seven?

"*ideal situat to dip your feet into... but officials at the rochester parks department "we feel that it's at a safe level now.

There aren't any concerns with having folks come out and enjoy some time in the lake."
