Father of Julian Assange addresses journalists outside the Old Bailey as extradition hearing resumes

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's father, John Shipton, was seen addressing the media outside the Old Bailey yesterday (September 7).

Assange's hearing has continued after being adjourned during the UK's COVID-19 lockdown.

Rebecca Vincent of Reporters Without Borders expressed concerns after a judge rejected a bid to delay the hearing.

Assange faces 175 years in jail if convicted and extradited to the US.
