Business owners and people are saying enough is enough and want to continue indoor operations in Oroville.

Group is demanding local leaders let restaurants go back to serving indoors.

The owner here says he is going to continue offering indoor dining - despite the statewide order.

Restaurant owner levi fuller says businesses in the city of oroville are coming together to reopen indoors again..... levi fuller: am i supposed to tell someone whose house just burned down and are trying to have a meal with their kids that they have to sit outdoors in the same toxic chemicals that are burning?

Some think the air quality could be just as dangerous as the coronavirus.... roxanne eldrige/customer: the virus is going to be around we need to get back to living our normal lives.

People should have the right to choose.

We should be able to decide if we want to come and support these local businesses or not..

Butte county public health officials say they understand their frustrations but its out of their control.

They cannot override the state order.... casey hatcher/butte co public health: we will reach out to businesses to let them know indoor operations need to be closed.

If we continue to get complaints those complaints will be advanced to state agencies for enforcement.

But fuller says he still plans to stick to his decision.... levi fuller/owner of mikes grande burger: our constitutional rights are being violated and us citizens and business owners are getting tired of it.

People can choose to eat outdoors or indoors or take my food to go or choose not to support my business.

And earlier today many businesses owners and community members gathered at fuller's restaurant for an event to bring awareness to this issue.

It featured speakers like assemblyman james gallagher who is supporting these restaurant's decision.
