Turns out she is a math wiz... teaching algebra 2.

Arlene crabtree: i absolutely love teaching algebra 2.

Of course that's not all she does.

She also teaches computer science, teaches a leadership class for students, and last year became the student council sponsor.

Arlene crabtree: any student who has had me knows my ultimate goal is to see them suceed.

Crabby as the students affectionately call her... all my kids call me that and it's ok.

It's a term of endearment.

Also started the schools first esports team.

I used to be a gamer, i played one of the original mmo's when we had dial up.

It may seem like a stark contrast from algebra 2 teacher to gamer, but crabtree says it's all about finding ways for kids to succeed.

They love it and there is a place for that.

And i think that needs to be hilighted.

We teach our kids about what comes tomorrow but we don't know what tomorrow holds, all i can do is give you the alibility to thrive in that world.
