With less than 24 hours to go before the first head-to-head presidential debate, President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden say they're ready to go.

Political analyst john zogby says people should not overlook the importance of this debate and tells us what each candidate needs to do to come out victorious.

"this is kind of an armageddon election.

Each side feels that if the other side wins it will be the end of the world as we know it.

Biden has simply got to show that he can take on trump and that he's fit for the presidency.

Donald trump has to show that biden is unfit for the presidency, that he represents the radical elements, that he's to old and not mentally fit for the presidency."
