Working President of Telangana Rashtra Samith (TRS) KTR slammed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its campaign in Hyderabad for local polls. "They (BJP) have forgotten that this is 'gali election'. Leaders from Delhi are coming, international leaders might also come. Trump Sahab may also come as he is their friend. We just need blessings of the public of Hyderabad," said KTR.
Addressing a press conference, ahead of local body election in Hyderabad, BJP leader and Union Textile Minister SmritiIrani targeted AIMIM and accused party of enrollingillegal immigrants in Telangana's voter list. She also slammed CM KCR's TRS. "Our soldiers are fighting relentlessly to keep our borders safe. And here in this historical city of Hyderabad, the AIMIM and TRS are working in tandem to give illegal immigrants a place in Telangana's voter's list. They will have to answer to the people for this," said Irani.

"If a state govt takes steps to ensure women aren't criminally and fraudulently coerced into relationships, should it not be supported by Indians? As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone Nivar is likely to cross between Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram) and Karaikal during midnight on November 25 and early hours of November 26. Speaking to ANI, Director General of Meteorology (DGM) of India Meteorological Department, Dr Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said, "Cyclone Nivar is gradually intensifying. It could cause structural damage, uprooting of trees, damage to thatched/tin houses, and damage to banana and paddy crops." "There will be strong winds and heavy rain. The most impact will be in Puducherry and Karaikal," he added.

Ahead of severe cyclonic storm Nivar, sea rough in Puducherry coast observed on November 25. The severe cyclonic storm Nivar over southwest Bay of Bengal moved west-north-westwards with a speed of 6 kmph during past six hours. Cyclonic storm Nivar will cross Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts between Karaikal and Mamallapuram on November 25 late evening.
Rain lashed in parts of Chennai on November 25. Cyclone Nivar is expected to make landfall between Karaikal and Mamallapuram later this evening. Meenambakkam is a southern neighbourhood of Chennai received 120 mm rainfall from 08:30 am yesterday till 05:30 am today. Cyclonic storm Nivar over southwest Bay of Bengal moved west-northwestwards.
A senior National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) officer said while 12 teams have been pre-deployed, 18 are on standby in these states and the Union Territory of Puducherry. With the depression over the Bay of Bengal likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by Tuesday and cross the coast as a severe cyclonic storm a day after, the Tamil Nadu government on Monday reviewed the situation, asking the respective district administrations to be on guard. It announced suspension of inter and intra-district bus services in seven districts from Tuesday, till further orders. Trains were partially and fully cancelled in some districts. GHMC polls should be conducted without voters from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Rohingyas. We will do a surgical strike in Old City once we win the polls."
