Erin Lim may have celebrated Latinx Heritage Month with her Daily Pop family on E!

Earlier this week, but she's always celebrating her heritage with her family at home.

Hopefully people can continue to recognize usthree six five but hey, we'll take a monthwhere we get to proudly, wave our flagsAnd show everyone what its about.(upbeat music)I think it's important for people to recognize firstly, all cultures that make up Americaand Latino Hispanic culture is just so deeplyingrained and knitted into the fabric of this country andto just celebrate our awesome culture,we've got amazing food. We've got, familial values that we really, really cherish. We have music, we have dancing. It's such a loving culture. And not only that, there are so many countriesthat represent Hispanic heritage. It's just such a rich culture, and all of us have likeour individual identities ingrained within it,within our people. So it's cool that we get that spotlight for the momentand hopefully people can continue to recognize usthree six five but hey,we'll take a month where we get to proudly, wave our flags and show everyone what it's about. What's your favorite food?My favorite food well, so I'm half Mexican,My mom is third generation Latina American from Los Angeles. So we believe LA blood through and through. And I loved growing up on Mexican food Chile Verdeis a dish I shared on daily pop this morningthat my mom used to make all the time when I was growing up.And so last night I went over to my parents' houseand my mom and my grandmother taught me howto make Chile Verde with their own special recipeand all of the secret ingredients that they use.And it was with a side of Mexican rice.It was so delicious and we would have friends overand she would do homemade tacos and it was,Oh it was the best!Would you say that's likeone of your favorite childhood memories?Oh yeah, for sure if I ever had crushes on any boy,it was like, they would be invited to.(light laugh)
