Also in sectional 30, washington was at home against pike central.... and kevin failed to tell me that it was going to be a torrential downpour at this one i mean look at that.

That's what the hatchets did...there's seth holtsclaw with a 10 yard pickup..

Back to the ground... this time its jayce perkins with a first down run... the hatchets just metriculated their way down the field..

That set up this play action pass..

Trey reed hits holtsclaw in the flat and the senior waltzes into the endzone untouched.

14 yards to paydirt, hatchets go on top 8 nothing... it was their defense that really showed out tonight in the monsoon.

They pitched a shutout....their first since 20-16 pike central couldn't get anything going against this hatchet defense.

Washington wins this one in dominating fashion, 50 to nothing is our final.

The hatchets advance to the sectional semis vs edgewood next week...and are now 4 and 6 on the season.
