Tejashwi Yadav said, "By commenting on my family, Nitish Kumar is targeting PM Modi as he also has 6 siblings.
Using such language, Nitish Kumar has insulted women and my mother's sentiments.
They don't speak on main issues including inflation, corruption, unemployment etc."
Speaking on the on-going farmers' protest against new farm laws, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on November 30 stated that the protests are happening on account of misconceptions and dialogue should take place in the matter. He said, "The central govt wants to talk to farmers to dispel the fear of issues in the procurement mechanism. So I believe that dialogue should take place. The protests are happening on account of misconceptions."

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reacted on Tejashwi Yadav's allegation on his 'Bete Ki Chah Main Betiya Paida Karte Reh Gae' remark. He said, "I was speaking about the fertility rate and said that in humour. Did I say anything about anyone? People are taking it on themselves on their own." Earlier in the day, RJD leader and former deputy chief minister of Patna Tejashwi Yadav said that CM Kumar was heard saying- 'bete ki chah me bitiya paida karte reh gaye'. He said, "I said it doesn't suit the most experienced CM to drag my sisters into politics". Tejashwi further added that people say that CM Nitish Kumar didn't have another child out of fear that it could be a girl.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Sarnath Archaeological Site in Varanasi on Monday evening. The prime minister was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. PM Modi watched the light and sound show at the Sarnath site. Earlier the prime minister also watched the laser show at the ghats.
