Hello and welcome back.

We've wittled our way down to the final 16 teams in indiana high school volleyball.

Down in jasper loogootee and barr-reeve both looked to advance to next week's state finals in muncie.

First up it was the 1a semi-state as loogootee took on hauser.

1st set, lions on the attack as senior jaelyn walker sends this one to the back line for the lions point.

Loogootee takes the first set easily 25-19.

2nd set, hauser on a bit of scoring run to cut into the loogootee lead but makenzie vanhoy puts a stop to that run with this kill baseline.

Still in the 2nd, lions looking at match point and kenzie doesn't miss her target.

Another kill for the senior and loogootee leads 2-0.

3rd set, we're all tied at 18, jets trying to make something happen but abbey furham and makenzie vanhoy close the door at the net.

Later in the set, hauser attacking up the middle but kylie vanhoy and haylie mathies block the attempt.

Lions are two points away from state.

Next point, it's a floater over the middle and kylie beats the defender to the ball and drops it in for the lions point.

Which brings us to match point and once again it's kylie vanhoy with the kill off the wall and out of bounds for the game winner.

Loogootee claims their program's sixth semi-state title, their first since 2012.

<this is our little girl dream.

You know not many people get to live this out but here we are, going to state, what we've looked forward to since we picked up a volleyball and with these girls?

There's no body else i'd rather do it with.

This being our fourth year playing together and making it this far in the tournament is nothing more than what we've wanted.

We've wanted this since we were children.

Since we were seven and we started playing and to be able to do it with those three is the best feeling in the entire world.

I don't even know what to think.

Like i never even thought that i'd be going to state but like i wouldn't want to do it with anyone else.

They're my best friends and i'm so thankful for all of them.

I'm so pumped to be able to experience this with all the other seniors and all my other teammates because we have two different groups for basketball and volleyball, so all these girls...this experience that they get to go through too with us, it's so
