Fox 55's mallory beard is live at the coliseum with more information on what you should expect...malllory?thank you hunter, i'm here at the coliseum and you're right... voters are getting anxious in regard to tomorrow.

But we spoke to elections officials about what you need so you won't get turned away.

Election day is finally here.

Beth dlug//allen county director of elections"the polling locations will be open from 6am to 6pm all day tomorrow."

And if you're not quite sure what to do ... bill moreau of indiana citiznen education foundation says first and foremost...bill moreau//indiana citizen education foundation, president "you need to have a photo id.

And the most reliable form of picture id is your driver's license.

And there are state issued id's because some poeple don't drive so they have state issued ids."

He says you can also use a valid passport.

Poll workers need to be able to identify you.

...even with your mask on."you gotta have patience; you gotta have a mask.

You gotta believe that the people who are standing around you are not gonna be real comfortable if you don't have a mask."

Moreau says the poll workers are there to promote democracy ... not to keep anyone from voting.

Bill moreau//indiana citizen education foundation foundation, president"there's no reason to be angry at the poll workers.

They're volunteers.

They're trying to move the process through."

And allen county election director beth d'lug assures voters who will be braving the cold tomorrow ... your vote will count.beth dlug//allen county director of elections"if you are in line by 6pm, you will be allowed to vote."

So remember...there will be polling officials to time check those who are already in line 6-pm at polls.

And most importantly, poll workers ask that voters have patience during election night.

Because realistically it takes several hours, even leading into the next day, for staff to fully count all of the votes that come in.
