Swedish manufacturer Volvo is using a mixed-reality simulator to develop newsafety and autonomous driving systems. It involves driving a real car on realroads while combining it with an augmented-reality headset and full-body‘Teslasuit’ for the driver.
The suit provides haptic feedback from the virtualworld while also monitoring the reactions of the driver to differentscenarios.
