Car smashes into home in Chico

A young child is safe after the family's Chico home was smashed into by a hit-and-run driver in Chico.

Car smashed into a home in chico early this morning..

Then left the scene chico police say it happenbed at two a.m.

On commonwealth court.

Officers say an unknown type vehicle hit the wall of a bedroom, where a young child was sleeping.

But the child wasn't hurt.

Police say there is no description of the vehicle but it should have front end damage.
