Santa comes to help raise money for Regional Rehab

Santa claus wants to help the regional rehabilitation center in tupelo this year.

He is teaming up with one tupelo business the organization raise money in a very unique way.

Our wayne hereford joins us live from room to room furniture in tupelo to tell us how this will happen in the middle of this pandemic.

The room to room furniture store here in tupelo hosts a fundraiser for regional rehab.

People donated money for their kids get their pictures taken with santa.

But this year room to room came up with another way to raise money safely.

Santa will talk to kids at room t room furniture in tupelo this year on zoom.

"i'm santa from the north pole and i'm excited about seeing the children because we were afraid we weren't going to have any contact.

But with zoom meetings you can have personal time with me, santa claus.

Santa is teaming up with room to room furniture store in tupelo to raise money this year for the regional rehabilitation center in tupelo help special needs children.

"all you have to do is go online to room to room's or the regional rehabilitation center's facebook page , make a 25 dollar donation, and select a time to talk to santa."

This year we're going to do it totally different .

You can even bring mothers, cousins, aunts ,everybody on the call.

We're doing this as a fundraiser for regional rehab."

"this past year we saw one - thousand four hundred and eighty -five people at the rehab center .

That equaled almost 46- thousand services .

And we cannot do this without fundraisers like this."
