The town of shelburn is embracing a slower pace and soaking in the magic!
Organizers of this first ever downtown christmas celebration hope to make it an annual tradition.
The day-long event featured a christmas bazaar... tree lighting... and the main event -- pictures with santa and his reindeer!
"last year we put our christmas tree up for the first time but we didn't have a ceremony.
People got the idea that we need to have a christmas tree lighting so that is what we did for the second year."
This celebration was made possible due to the work of the "shelburn old fashioned days committee"... park board... town board... volunteer fire
