Union Home Minister Amit Shah met a delegation from Ladakh in Delhi on Jan 06.
A member of the delegation, Thupstan Chhewang said, "Home Minister said that under leadership of Prime Minister Modi, government is committed to protection of Ladakh's land, culture and development.
After fulfilling the decades-old demand of people for UT status to Ladakh, government has shown its commitment."
