Bibb County BOE: 'Poll workers are tired, anxious'

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)-- Election workers in Bibb County are relieved to see election season come to a close, but not for reasons you may think.

Miller says ... expect to see requests for a recount and even some legal action since the numbers are so close.

Elections and poll workers in bibb county say they are relieved election season is over, but not for the reasons you would think.

According to bibb county board of elections officials, poll watchers and observers caused trouble at polling locations on election day and during early voting.

Board of elections chairman mike kaplan says his election workers are tired and paranoid.

Poll manager tom gillon says poll workers did face harassment from some observers.

"we had some watchers who were recording lisense plates of poll workers and of staff here and wanting to follow poll workers from their polling places, which is nothing we've ever had to deal with in the past."
