At least seven were killed after fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Kolkata.
Fire was reported from New Koilaghat building on strand road on Monday evening.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee visited the building where fire broke out.
Banerjee announced ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to kin of deceased.
Banerjee also announced government job to one family member of deceased.
The building houses zonal offices of eastern and south eastern railways.
Four firefighters, one assistant SI and one RFP personnel were among those who died.
Fire was controlled later on Monday night, as per reports.
