A cycle rally was organised to kickstart the celebrations for 75 years of India's Independence.
The event took place in Punjab's Amritsar with full zeal and fervour on March 12.
The cycle rally was flagged-off by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Amritsar, Gurpreet Singh Khaira.
The rally commenced from Jallianwala Bagh in the morning.
While speaking to media, DC Khaira said, "To mark 75 years of our Independence, we began with cycle rally from Jallianwala Bagh." "More events will be dedicated to our freedom struggle," he added.
