"* progress is still rolling on the hyatt place hotel and convention center here in the south parking lot of southbridge mall.

Covid?

"*19 caused the delays.

City council will consider a public hearing for modification of the agreement to reflect the delays.

The hope is to finalize financing and closing on the purchase of the property.

City hospitality industry for weathering "fortunately, our hotels were able to provide them accomodations and continue to pay their employees and try and keep a baseline for our industry here.

We're looking forward to bouncing back, and this hotel will be a part of that."
