The world's first community of 3D-printed zero net-energy homes will be built in Rancho Mirage, California.

Palari Group say they plan to develop the 5-acre parcel into a planned community of 15 eco-friendly homes, built utilising the 3d-printed panelised mighty kit system by Mighty Buildings.

The $15 million sustainable development is centred around integration of technology and sustainability.

The 3D-printing production process eliminates 99% of construction waste while the efficient operations use solar energy and weather-resistant materials.

Alexey Dubov, co-founder and COO of Mighty Buildings, says: “We could not be more excited for this ground-breaking collaboration with Palari, and to be a part of the creation of the world’s first 3D-printed net-zero energy community."
