The Home Secretary has said the UK should "stand tall" over its evacuation of British and Afghan nationals from the "desperate and harrowing" situation in Afghanistan.
"As a country we should stand tall and be proud of the work we are doing in terms of giving people the refuge and the sanctuary that they need at a time when they are fearing for their lives," she said.
