Ludwig took to Twitter to share the announcement.
He posted a video clip in which he and a friend are riding around in a car that is the same shade of purple as Twitch's brand color.
After talking about a variety of topics, they pull into a parking lot, at which point the purple car explodes.
They see a red car, on brand with YouTube's color scheme, in the parking lot and decide to hop in that one since it's "pretty much the same one," just a "different color.".
At the end, Ludwig's friend says, "wait, don't you get in trouble for playing music?," referencing Twitch's DMCA music strikes.
Ludwig responds, "Not in this car," and it is revealed that he will now stream exclusively on YouTube Gaming.
