Jet packs could prove 'game-changer' to mountain rescue

Paramedics could soon be using jet packs on difficult mountain rescue missions, after trials in the Lake District proved a success.

The machines can access remote areas that are out of reach for helicopters and offer a faster alternative to climbing, all of which could save lives.

Paramedic Jamie Walsh said the technology is "potentially a game-changer".
