Delhi, UP and nearby states witnessed heavy rainfall, lightning, incidents of thunderstorm, dust storms mostly on Monday.
According to statement released by the State government, at least 39 people lost their lives and three were injured in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh in a single day.
