Swimmers plunge into icy waters on New Year’s Day in the Netherlands

Thousands jumped into the icy cold North Sea as part of a New Year’s Day tradition in the seaside town of Scheveningen, Netherlands.

The event has returned after being suspended for two years due to COVID restrictions.
