As a woman, it took me an extended “pregnant” pause to reconcile in my pragmatic mind why, and how I need to justify my “gender” as my qualifications to be a woman are clear, and the fact I have to clarify what a woman is, is beyond confusing as the biological basic fact makes the conclusion concrete.
