Government minister Robert Jenrick says the nurses’ strike “will be harmful to the safety of the public” as the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) begins a 48-hour strike.
The Minister for Immigration adds: “We have to take into account affordability to the taxpayer,” as the pay dispute between the government and the RCN continues.
