A nursery teacher who was working at the Brovary kindergarten when a helicopter crashed into it, killing 14, told Reuters on Thursday (January 19) that children had clung to her in the moments before the explosion.
Tetiana Opre, who has worked at the school for 38 years, said the youngsters had to run through smoke and fire, before panicked parents arrived to collect their children.
