Dear Pastor Bob: I've been watching your videos for 8 years or so, keep it up!
I work out 5 - 7 days a week.
The gym is a big piece of my life.
I seem to get my best workouts in when I listen to angry music; Slaughter To Prevail, Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, etc.
I avoid any song that is anti God but the hard hitting, violent, angry songs just help with the workout so much.
Maybe I'm releasing anger this way?
From a biblical standpoint, is this wrong?
I don't feel convicted for it.
There's some heavy Christian bands on my playlist also like Impending Doom.
But nothing hits quite like the other music.
Figured I'd ask you since you're a music guy.
I've tried talking to some other people and I basically get "if it's not Christian music then it's a sin!"Â Meanwhile they watch movies that depict the same violent imagery.
