Philp: Govt were ‘deeply concerned’ over Farage row

Chris Philp has said that the government were “deeply concerned” regarding how private and confidential information about Nigel Farage’s banking arrangements were made public.

The Home Office minister said that is it right that NatWest’s boss Alison Rose has resigned.

But that the row raises further questions about how private sector companies could discriminate against customers based upon their political views.
