Around 100,000 people have been evacuated from flooded villages in Pakistan's Punjab province, according to an emergency services representative.
Several hundred villages in the central province were inundated and thousands of acres of crops were destroyed when the Sutlej river overflowed on August 20, leaving families without homes and livelihoods.
