Tens of thousands of Georgians take to the streets of the capital Tbilisi to celebrate the European Union's decision to put the EU-aspirant country on a formal membership path.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili addressed the crowd, but President Salome Zurabishvili -- who is at loggerheads with the ruling Georgian Dream party -- was not invited onto the podium.
