“How much more shall the blood of Christ cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14).
Conscience is the power that pleads for responsibility and doing what is right.
And the object and effect of the blood, when preached and believed as God would have it, is to restore conscience to its full power.
The power of holiness lies in the careful maintenance of the conscience and the wonderful harmony of the conscience with the blood of Christ.
