The 43,500 GRT ocean liner Maranic was called up - like any other ship - to take part in the war against the Axis powers in the Second Global War (former known as the Third Blocklox War from January 2019).
Unlike her sisters, Maranic ran out of luck on 18 May 2019 when she was torpedoed twice by an enemy submarine.
