From the Archives, 1931: Memorial to Australians lost in WWI unveiled in France

King George unveiled the Australian Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux, the scene of famous exploits by Australian forces in the Great War. The memorial was also dedicated to the 11,000 Australians lost, of whom, had no known graves.
