Moho Resources Ltd (ASX:MOH) has executed an agreement with Blue Spec Drilling Pty Ltd for the third reverse circulation (RC) drilling program as part of resource definition studies to infill and extend gold mineralisation at the East Sampson Dam gold prospect. Phase one of the RC drilling at the prospect, which is part of the Silver Swan North Project in WA, will consist of 15 holes for 1,400 metres and is due to begin on July 7, 2020. The resource definition infill drilling is designed to extend gold mineralisation intersected by Moho in September 2018 and October 2019 RC drill programs, including: 15 metres at 4.71 g/t from 88 metres including 3 metres at 15.18 g/t from 100 metres; 5 metres at 10.36 g/t from 59 metres including 2 metres at 24.61 g/t from 56 metres; 9 metres at 4.28 g/t from 19 metres including 3 metres at 3.37 g/t from 19 metres, and 1-metre at 24.3 g/t from 25 metres; 2 metres at 17.0 g/t from 73 metres; and 2 metres at 12.33 g/t from 88 metres including 1-metre at 22.8 g/t at 89 metres. Assay results from phase one are expected in August 2020. Phase two drilling Phase two of the RC drill program is scheduled for September to coincide with aircore drilling of existing auger geochemical anomalies in peripheral areas of the main mineralised zone at East Sampson Dam. The second phase will consist of 25 RC hole for around 2,100 metres. Six diamond holes for around 600 metres will also be drilled to generate samples for further metallurgical test-work and structural and geotechnical studies. Infill auger sampling will be undertaken to further delineate the geochemical anomalies prior to carrying out the phase two RC and aircore drilling. Proposed location of Phase 1 2020 RC drill program collars in relation to current mineralised zone and gold intersections in RC drill program undertaken by Moho in October 2019 Metallurgical testing RC samples have been delivered to JT Metallurgical Services Pty Ltd for test-work to provide preliminary information for toll treatment by carbon-in-leach and possible on-site heap leaching. This work includes studies focusing on rheology and crush size sensitivity, agglomeration/percolation tests and gold liberation and recovery characteristics. Preliminary results are expected in quarter three. Maiden JORC mineral resource CSA Global (CSA) has been engaged to undertake geological modelling of gold mineralisation at the East Sampson Dam project. This work will identify additional work requirements to advance the project so that an appropriate level of JORC Mineral Resource can be defined. The JORC Resources will provide a firm basis for planning optimum mining and gold recovery operations for input into the scoping study and to determine likely key financial outcomes. The company expects to release a maiden JORC mineral resource in quarter four, with a scoping study to follow in quarter one 2021. Location of Moho’s tenements, including M27/263 (highlighted) in relation to regional geology of Silver Swan North Project Silver Swan North Tenements East Sampson Dam prospect on M27/263 is a key element of the Silver Swan North Project, which is close to existing gold processing facilities and mining infrastructure. Moho believes that, if mineralisation is extended and a suitable gold resource established, it could provide important cash flow for the company. On June 24, 2020, the company announced it had signed a binding Heads of Agreement with joint venture partner Odin Metals Ltd (ASX:ODM) to acquire ODM’s 30% interest in M27/263, subject to shareholder approval.
