Texas Education Agency sets guidelines for students returning to campuses this fall

Texas schools must provide on-campus instruction for students this fall, with some exceptions, the Texas Education Agency announced July 7.  Parents can request virtual instruction from any school system that offers it, the TEA said in a guidance document, and the 90% attendance requirement may be fulfilled through virtual instruction.  The TEA is allowing school systems to temporarily limit access to on-campus teaching for the first three weeks of school, with students with internet capabilities…
