Dell Technologies Inc., up $6.42 to $59.10.

The computer maker is considering spinning off its majority stake in software company VMware.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., up $1.90 to $42.31.

The insurance and financial services company gave investors an encouraging second-quarter financial update.

Uber Technologies Inc., down 46 cents to $32.35.

The ride-hailing company is reportedly in talks with investors about taking a stake in its freight division.

Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc., up $2.52 to $21.07.

The space tourism company named former Disney executive Michael Colglazier as its CEO.
