Rippling rises to unicorn status after raising a $145M Series B

Zenefits founder Parker Conrad has done it again. His latest startup, Rippling, raised a $145 million Series B financing round on Tuesday, thrusting the human resources software company into unicorn status with a new $1.35 billion valuation, according to media reports. Rippling was started in 2016 by Conrad, who had previously founded Zenefits, also an HR software company, and then was forced to resign as CEO amid a scandal that same year.
