archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9) has entered a contractual agreement with KPMG to provide resources to conduct several specialised security services, which includes an Information Security services contract with a Commonwealth National Security Agency. archTIS will contribute resources with a focus on security architecture, information sharing, integration and cross-domain services, up to the value of $400,000. The company is part of a consortium of industry leaders brought together by KPMG for the professional services contract to provide the agency with an enterprise information management capability partner. “IP embraced by industry leaders” archTIS chief executive officer Daniel Lai said: “archTIS is very pleased to be engaged with KPMG, a leader in digital consulting, to deliver these important services for this Commonwealth National Security Agency. “This demonstrates that our partner program is delivering results as a key part of our overall go to market strategy. “It also demonstrates the regard which archTIS, and the intellectual property it has developed, is being embraced by industry leaders.” Shares have been up almost 25% at the market opening to 58 cents and have risen from 5.1 cents at the close on June 15. “Contributing to national security” Lai said: “There has never been a more important time to get information security right for our clients, given the amount of investment the government is injecting into secure information sharing, and the size of the threat. “archTIS is proud to contribute to such an important cause as Australia’s national security.” The contract will commence immediately with an expected duration of around three months.
