Oracle joins Bay Area exodus as it moves headquarters to Texas

Redwood City-based Oracle Corp. said in a regulatory filing Friday that it’s moving its corporate headquarters to Austin to give employees more flexibility in where they work.  The news, first reported by Bloomberg News, comes in the same week that Tesla entrepreneur Elon Musk confirmed he is moving to Texas. “Oracle is implementing a more flexible employee work location policy and has changed its corporate headquarters from Redwood City, California to Austin Texas,” an Oracle spokesperson…
