Sourav Ganguly gets Rs 1.5 crore service tax relief

Cricketer Sourav Ganguly, who is currently the president of the Indian cricket board, has won a relief from the tax tribunal in a Rs 1.5-crore service tax claim. A bench of the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal in Kolkata has dismissed the service tax commissioner’s demand raised in November 2012.
