Kentucky Gov. Beshear says he will veto bills hampering his Covid-19 response

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday said he will veto any bills he feels hampers his ability to fight the Covid-19 pandemic and said he is willing to legally challenge any legislation he views as an unconstitutional restraint of his emergency powers.  Beshear weighed in on the topic after the Kentucky General Assembly and its Republican supermajority followed through on its promise to pass bills limiting the governor’s power by sending a number of measures to Beshear’s desk this past weekend.…
