Covid deaths surged in Oregon last week

Covid-related deaths in Oregon surged last week, jumping by more than 100 from the previous week. The state reported 177 deaths from Covid in the week ended Jan. 10, up from 73 in the prior week, according to the Oregon Health Authority's weekly report.
