EcoGraf Ltd’s (ASX:EGR) (FRA:FMK) (OTCMKTS:ECGFF) shares have started trading on the OTCQX market in the United States, following the acceptance of its application. The OTCQX market provides EcoGraf access to one of the largest investment markets in the world, the US, at a nominal cost, with no additional compliance requirements, compared to traditional major exchanges. Furthermore, MSCI (formerly Morgan Stanley Capital International) has confirmed that EcoGraf will be included in the MSCI Australia Micro Cap Index, which is designed to measure the performance of the Micro Cap segment of companies traded on the Australian Securities Exchange. Successful capital raising EcoGraf’s listing on the OTC market follows the successful completion of a A$54.6 million capital raising initiative in February that included cornerstone investments from US institutional investors. Importantly, the US investment funds the construction and commissioning of commercial operations of the company’s initial production at the new EcoGraf battery anode material facility in Western Australia. OTCQX trading Existing ordinary shares of EcoGraf are now allowed to be traded on the OTCQX market and the company has not issued any new shares in connection with the OTCQX quotation. Investors can find real-time quotes and market information on the OTC Markets website - www.otcmarkets.com/stock/ECGFF/overview. Depository Trust Company (DTC) application for electronic trading is in progress. Surging investor interest EcoGraf’s US listing is in response to the surging investor interest in the US for electric vehicle stocks, recently stimulated by President Biden announcing plans to replace the US Government vehicle fleet with electric vehicles (EVs) and supporting the global shift to EVs. The increased international interest in the sector is also in response to the European commission foreshadowing new legislation to require greater recycling, visibility, and traceability of raw materials within the EV supply chain. EcoGraf has a vertically integrated eco-friendly battery anode materials processing facility in Western Australia, which produces spherical graphite products for exports to Asia, Europe and North America.
